Carpet Underlayment
Adhesion film

Adhesion film for Carpet Underlay is coextruded film with low melting point that provides protection and liquid barrier to the carpet. The ultra-tough polyethylene that grips the surface helps carpet to slide during the installation process. It protects the floor from possible damage through the rough PU foam surface.

The film laminated to the underlay of the carpet, not only provides structural integrity to the carpet but also protects it from dust and dirt eventually enhancing the life of the carpet.
It is available in thicknesses from 1.75 to 2.5 mil (45 to 65 gauge), wound in rolls of up to 2800 mm (110 inches) width. These films are also available with antimicrobial properties and can withstand temperatures up to 190° Celsius (375 °F) thus making it perfect for PU foam based carpet underlay lamination.

Polyethylene (PE), the base material used in manufacturing Forvara® & Wrapit® Films, is a simple structure polymer that has the least environmental impact. It is easily recyclable and when annihilated, it burns to hydrogen and carbon without any polluting content.
